Information Top Located halfway between Harrison and Jasper, Arkansas. Private and surrounded by natural beauty, this handcrafted log cabin has been designed to provide that special place in which you can relax and enjoy the comforts of home. There is an awesome view of the Buffalo River Basin from our 10' X 24' deck. Our kitchen is equipped with a full size refrigerator and range, microwave and all cooking essentials. The bathroom is on the main level across the hall from a cozy bedroom with queen bed. The loft is open to below with two double beds, a desk for writing and a wardrobe. All linens are provided. The cabin has air-conditioning and features a remote control gas fireplace for use during cooler months, barbecue grill on the covered porch, television with DVD player, CD player, radio, and games. National River: Experience canoeing, fishing, or just resting by the water.
We’re accessible to the spring floating on the upper river and the summer
floating on the middle river. Local canoe rental and shuttle service available.
A beautiful drive to Cotter, Arkansas for trout fishing on the White River as
well.
Jasper: We’re just 9 miles north of Jasper. Check out the Hilary
Jones Wildlife Museum, Emma's Museum of Junk, and the rest of the City Square.
Branson, Missouri: Great music shows and is an easy 40 minute
drive, you can choose from country music, gospel, and comedy shows and more, by
some of the biggest names in the business. Golfing: there are golf courses at Harrison, Diamond City, Bull Shoals and Huntsville. Crafts: You’ll find them here in the Ozarks, the same functional, beautiful furniture, quilts, baskets, toys, and other treasures our ancestors made when they came here in the early 1800s. Watch Wildlife: The Elk Capital of Arkansas by proclamation of the governor, you can enjoy seeing our elk herd at many locations along the Buffalo River. We’ll help you select a spot for elk watching. We also have a wonderful variety of wildlife ranging from black bear, whitetail deer, turkey, red fox, to bald eagles, hawks, great blue herons, finches, chickadees and blue birds. Exploring Newton County is an adventure. Lakes: We are close enough to Bull Shoals Lake for an easy day trip to enjoy boating and fishing there.
