Buffalo National River Country.
Jasper Resort
RV Park, Campground
& Lodging
Information Top
Hopefully you will visit our 34 year establishment. Dogwood Springs Park,
at Jasper Resort, can accommodate any size family and
can work with you to choose one of many
options on lodging to meet your needs and budget. We are the only
RV park, campground & cabin rental
together, with a pool, children’s activities, and
Group Sites. Choose from
camper cabins and
cottages, and/or
shaded tent sites, and
also many long
wide shaded pull-throughs for RVs.
Dogwood Springs Park, at Jasper Resort, is the highest
rated Good Sam approved park in a 45 mile radius of Jasper, including parks in
Harrison. Jasper Resort is the first resort in Jasper.
Dogwood Springs is the only AAA and Good Sam approved
park in Jasper and Newton County. Our affordable accommodation choices are
clean, secure, many kid-friendly, and can be tailored to any family vacation
or reunion. AAA-Good Sam members 10% off.
Be sure to book with us early this year.
The Few "Free" campgrounds in the upper Buffalo National River Park
west of Hwy 7, Now charge a
fee for camping. Also they have an occupancy limit on the number of people
allowed at a site, and no showers at any of areas.
Our natural, wooded area is the closest full service facility to the Buffalo
National River and Little Buffalo River. Canoe shuttle pick-up and drop-off, (in
the park) can be scheduled with some canoe concessionaires.
We can arrange to have you a zip-locked bagged lunch, (prepared by Pizza Pro) ready when you leave on the
bus, and snacks, drinks, or ice. We are just one mile
north of Jasper on Scenic Byway 7, one of the country’s top ten scenic drives,
and only 17 miles south of Harrison. Hwy 7 is Arkansas first
scenic byway. You can view deer in the adjoining pastures
and hills from the park and enjoy a variety of songbirds and small animals. Just
up the road you can see Elk in the Boxley Valley,
the cave at Lost Valley, and hike the hills and trails.
In town there are several "home cooking" casual cafes,
and a new Pizza Pro which serves fast brunch all day, Hand
tossed or thin crust pizza, corn dogs, sandwiches, Buffalo wings hot or BBQ , cheese sticks,
cinnamon sticks with icing, Ben & Jerry's Ice cream, plus more, and best of all
they deliver to the resort free.
Fresh coffee and snacks are available at our
camp store in the mornings. Firewood, ice, soft drinks, hats,
ice cream, homemade cookies in season. Anything you left behind we should have in the store.
Craft stores, Laundry, The Bradley House Museum, The 1848 Chaney Log Cabin,
and several buildings listed on the Historic Register are all to be found in
Jasper. If you need a day away Branson, Eureka Springs, the White River
Railroad, area lakes and several cave tours are within an easy driving distance.
There are many special events in Jasper: the Buffalo River Elk Festival
with the Ozark Mustang Club car show in the spring, the Festival of Lights and
Christmas Festival in December, the county fair and rodeo in late August. You
don't want to miss The Dogwood tree Tour in April and Fall Color Tour in October.
Jasper host the Newton County Bluegrass Festival held on the banks of the Little
Buffalo River in late September. Saturday night you will enjoy live music downtown at the
Mercantile, it's a
favorite of tourist and locals. A must to visit is
Emma's (Almost world famous) Museum of Junk on the square.
Quiet time is
still observed 10PM - 7AM
So all "parties" should consider this time element!

Pet owners
please read! Before you consider bringing your family pet.
We are pet owners and lovers, many of our
guests are not, and we respect that. The following has been instrumented due to
past problems with a few pets. We have had a few pet owners with lack of responsibility in
taking care of their pets and protecting others from them. We've had to adjust
our rules to the following.
-
Pets are not to be left unattended in lodging
or barking at site, and must be on a leash 100% of the time. If they disrupt or
annoy others repeatedly, you may be asked to leave. Some dogs are not conducive
to a campground setting, you will need to take your dog anywhere you go or lock
them in your RV if you'll be leaving the park for an extended amount of time.
This is for safety of other guests and keeping your pet from being left in an
unfamiliar surrounding & Barking.
-
We reserve the right to refuse large, or
aggressive and mean dogs no matter what the size. You must at check-in, or disclose
to us at time of reservation that you have a dog/animal that you will be
responsible for while you are staying with us.
-
There is a $10.00 charge for each pet in our
lodging units - per night. This fee helps with additional cleaning needs
we perform:
washing throw rugs, furniture cleaning, tick/flea treatment, pet hair removal,
etc, for consideration of other guests that check-in after you who do not
have pets.
-
Also, there is a $50.00 cash per pet,
refundable damage deposit for pets in our lodging units. This fee will be held
for (1) day after checkout and mailed back to guests if no damage is found to
rugs, contents, furniture, floor, etc. after the unit is cleaned thoroughly and
inspected.
-
If you're staying in lodging,
RV or a TENT SITE, YOU MUST
PICKUP AFTER YOUR PET and dispose of their waste in the trash receptacle,
not leaving it on the ground. Please leave only their footprints.
Thanks! This will prevent children and others from stepping in your pet's waste
and tracking it into their place or into our facilities. Further, pets are not
allowed near pool, bathhouses, showers or anywhere people unfamiliar with your
pet are gathered, which may stress your animal and/or cause an incident that
could be prevented. Your cooperation is appreciated by everyone.
-
Absolutely NO DOGS/ANIMALS are to be on the
campground property that are not disclosed at time of your check-in. This means if
your visitors have a dog it is not allowed on the property or in
their vehicle on our property, for any reason at anytime. NO EXCEPTIONS.
