Vacation with us today! Select one of our cabins and enjoy your vacation in the Ozark Mountains and the Buffalo National River Country.
Come, share our mountain with us. We’ll treat you to some of the favorite things we’ve enjoyed on it all our lives. Sip your morning coffee and watch the sunlight burn away wisps of tattered fog in the valley below you. Relax in the evening and watch a spectacular sunset to the tune of a last evening serenade from the many birds that make our wooded acreage home. Scenic Highway 7 is nearby and we’re just seven miles south of Jasper, Arkansas, but we’re well off the road where it is peaceful and quiet and you can experience fully the special serenity of these age-old mountains. Inside our cozy log cabins, comfort awaits you. They are fully furnished with a kitchen, all cooking and eating utensils, electric cook stove with oven, microwave, toaster, coffeepot, television, rock fireplace, electric heat and air conditioning, a private bedroom downstairs, and a loft, providing space for six to eight guests. One of our cabins has a ramp and is handicap equipped. Outside, there’s a charcoal barbecue grill, a welcoming porch with a swing for enjoying the view, a large play area with a volleyball court, and hiking trails to explore. We are native Newton Countians with a lifelong love affair with these mountains and we are committed to making your welcome warm, your stay comfortable, and your memories of your Ozarks stay delightful. Each season has its special offering and we’re open year around. We are just minutes away from the Buffalo National River to the north and Big Piney Creek to the south, both nationally famous for smallmouth bass fishing. Bring your fishing gear and bathing suits for lots of water fun. Canoe rentals and shuttle service are available locally. The White River is also nearby and its trout fishing is known all over the country. Almost at our back door is the Ozarks National Forest, with its recreation areas, hiking trails, and scenic drives. There’s caves to explore, horseback riding, craft shops and antique stores, and there’s a restaurant just one-fourth mile away overlooking the Arkansas Grand Canyon.
